Room very clean, well heated, good ensuite if small
Cooked Breakfast a little sparse
Extremely welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble - good information on local attractions etc.. My cosy room was warm and comfortable, cleaned every day with fresh towels given each day. WiFi and tv available with an added facility for tea making. An excellent location to the city and theatres with a bonus of being so close to Holyrood Park,King Arthur's seat and a walk to Duddingston Loch - the best of both world's! I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Jayne West
Upgraded my room because of delayed construction works. They were very nice and straightforward.
Due to the construction works the first floor looked a little messy but the rooms were absolutely fine!
Convenient location, reasonable price. Young lad helped me to my room and prepared a continental breakfast for a very early departure.
It was a little shabby, but I see they are improving some areas.
The people were friendly
I didn`t like it very much, it was not clean, the rooms were difficult to reach with the lagguage, it was not close to the city centre (but not too far to be honest) and I did not liked the fact that the payment of the room was at the check in and not at the check out
Pleasant, helpful owners, firm but comfortable bed, good breakfasts cooked to order (no bacon), within walking distance (1.2 miles) of North Bridge, or 5 minutes by bus from a stop right across the road. I got great wireless internet from my room at the top of the stairs.
Minor quibble only - the shower in my room was tiny. Also there was a bit of a draft through the window.
